    As a Nursery Nurse, you will work as part of a team to deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all children to develop whilst meeting their individual needs.

    Your will have many responsibilities as a Nursery Nurse, however some of your core duties will include:

    • Ensuring an environment with consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children
    • Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children in line with our child protection
    • Continually work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers to meet the individual needs of the children

    What we need from you

    You’ll be a friendly, personable and resilient individual who works well within a team but is able to be self-sufficient where necessary. You will have strong communication skills, and the ability to be flexible, adaptable and embrace new ways of doing things. Ideally, you’ll have work experience within the Early Years sector as well as a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, however, if your heart is in the right place and you are willing to learn, no prior experience is necessary as training can be given.

    • Salary: £16,000 - £25,000 per year

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with passion who truly shines in what they do.     Your role as a Room Leader will be varied, however some of your core responsibilities will include:

    • Making accurate and effective assessments reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the child
    • Providing feedback to your team including regular 1:1’s , supervisions and appraisals
    • Promoting the nursery to current parents and potential customers to support the retention and ongoing occupancy growth

    What we need from you

    You’ll be an organised and agile individual with strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to be flexible, adaptable and embrace new ways of doing things. You’ll have post qualified experience of working within the Early Years sector, as well as experience of working as a key person.

    We are also looking for the following:

    • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Childcare qualification
    • Current Paediatric First Aid qualification
    • Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
    • Knowledge and understanding of wider legislative requirements for working with children
